  • The Lyrette is a syllabic invented verse form created by Dr. Israel Newman.

    The Lyrette is:
    • a heptastich, a poem in 7 lines.
    • syllabic, 2-3-4-5-4-3-2 syllables per line.
    • unrhymed.
    • each line should end with strong word.
