Seox

  • The Seox (seox in Anglo Saxon means six) is a verse form written in 6 lines in keeping with its name. It was created by Ann Byrnes Smith.

    The Seox is:
    • a poem in six lines, a hexastich.
    • syllabic, 3-7-6-5-4-3 syllables per lines.
    • unrhymed.

My Thanks to Judi Van Gorder for the wonderful resource at PMO

My Example Poem

A Way Out     (Seox)

When it is
practically impossible
to force your words to march
to any set rhyme
or metric flow
use this form.
