"Dasyure" (pronounced Dass-ee-yur) is a small marsupial mouse native
to Australia and Papua New Guinea, in some areas it is also called a
"Quoll".
The

Richard Lydekker (1848-1945) was an English born Naturalist / Artist and a
foremost authority in his time on mammals of the world, in particular game
animals.
